Welcome to the Tandridge Tennis Tournament website.
The Tournament is a knock out postal event which runs every year from May until September.This year will be our 41st anniversary and we hope this year will be our biggest and best! There are competitions in all categories from Juniors to Veteran events, details are on the entry forms. Each year the Finals are held at a different club within the Tandridge area and this year, they will be at Godstone Tennis club on Saturday 17th September.To be eligible to compete, you must either live, work, go to school or belong to a sports club within the Tandridge district. Members of Tennis clubs within a radius of 3 miles of the border also qualify. So,do you want to be the next Andy Murray or Venus Williams? Play more competitive tennis? Improve your rating? How it works:
Shortly after the deadline date for entries, all the draws will be made and you will be notified by post of your opponent, contact details and play by date for the round. It will normally be for the home or first drawn player to arrange the fixture by the date specified. Usually there is a 3 or 4 week period in which to play the match. The winner can then phone or e mail the result to the organiser and then await their next match. Keep going for a few more matches and you are the Champion!
